2007 URBAN COUNTRY FESTIVAL TALENT QUEST

Claye Middleton has taken out the professional section of the Voice of Urban Country talent search conducted as part of the 2007 QUT Urban Country Music Festival at the weekend.
Kris Wason and Kimberley Bowden won the amateur – senior, section while Liam Brew was named amateur – junior, winner.
In the Festival's busking competition, senior individual winner was Jordan Aarts while Graham Parfit won the traditional category, Daly Stephenson took out junior individual and Liam Brew and Kris Wason won the duo category.
Festival organisers report attendances of 2,000 for Friday night's Burbs 'n Bush concert, 6,000 for Saturday night's Main Concert and 3,500 for Sunday night's Urban Blaze concert – "our biggest crowd ever".
