2007 Ellaways Music QLD CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS - Results November 30 2007
2007 Ellaways Music - Qld Champions Of Champions
The 2007 Ellaways Music Qld Champion of Champions posted a record profit in what has been a very difficult time for the organising committee. The event was 7 weeks out and their was doubt that it could financially proceed, however the committee took a risk and it proved to pay off. Huge crowds and a swag of talent ensured that the Queensland Champion of Champions continues to provide an avenue for emerging country music artists in Queensland to have a stepping stone in their careers.
The 2007 Qld Champion of Champions is Logan resident and Redlands Country Music Club member, Lance Coassin. Lance stunned the crowd with a heart felt rendition of the Brendon Walmsley hit "Still Falling" and an electric performance of Keith Urban's "Home Spun Love"
Other major winners include the Juvenile Champion, Mackay's Kiara Rodrigues and Junior Champion was West Moreton's Rheanna Leschke.
The Queensland Champion of Champions is a culmination of winning artists from the Queensland country music talent quest circuit.
